![]() I often walk out of my office thinking I'll be back in 5 and get involved in something else for an hour+. Because it works so well, I actually set mine to sleep after 15 minutes of inactivity. It also wake in a few seconds at the touch of a button (or mouse or keyboard, depending how you want it configured). And yes, as suggested, it has nothing at all to do with the computer bios. The above poster is very correct, Vista Hybrid sleep is very sophisticated and will reduce energy usage to near nil when activated. Also, if it didn't work, please take a minute and let us know. If you try this and it works for you too, can you be so kind as to update this thread. I am happy to report that so far my Vista computer can wake-up and the Wacom pen/tablet are working. Set the Failure action(s) to Restart the Service. Go to the Properties and then the Recovery tab. In Vista, start Services.msc and find the "TabletServiceWacom". However, I did not post this message to gripe, while that is all I've done. ![]() I can say without hesitation the Wacom support is probably the most ignorant and useless bunch of folks out there. I ask whether they plan on fixing the issue to which I get - "this is the way USB is intended to work." Like you, I have dealt with many customer support issues. Here I am trying to conserve energy and this is what I get. I called Wacom a few time regarding this and their response was don't allow you computer to go to sleep. I heard that XP and Macs have a similar problem, although I never had this problem on my old XP machine. I don't know how many of you have been experiencing a problem with your Wacom tablet not working correctly after Vista resumes from Sleep.
